Stork Press has acquired 21.37 by Mariusz Czubaj, winner of Poland's High Calibre Award for the best crime novel in 2009.
Publisher Joanna Zgadzaj bought UK English paperback rights and global e-book rights in the title from its Polish publisher, WAB. It will be published in print and e-book editions in April 2013.
Zgadzaj described the novel as "the first crime novel featuring profiler Rudolf Heinz, the best profiler in Poland when it comes to serial killers. When the police find dead bodies of two young men, who happen to be priests, Heinz faces his most challenging case and a killer who likes to play games."
Joanna Zgadzaj said: "21:37 is an incredibly compelling crime novel—gripping and absorbing. We are delighted to introduce this exceptionally talented Polish crime author to an English audience."
