Quarto Publishing Group UK has made a series of appointments to its sales team, as part of a restructure.
Jon Stefani, previously business development director at Simon & Schuster will take on the role of sales director, while Geraldine McBride, previously trade sales director at Bonnier Publishing will become sales director of children's books. Caroline May, who was export sales manager at Octopus, will become director of international sales.
Quarto Publishing Group UK m.d. David Inman said: "We are delighted to have recruited such a highly talented group of people from the industry. The creation of these new roles is part of our strategy to focus on the organic growth, in trade markets worldwide, of our imprints – Aurum Press, Jacqui Small and Frances Lincoln (both adult and children), as well as our new children’s imprint Wide Eyed Editions, and our stationery business."
The new team will also take responsibility for the sales of Quarto Group trade imprints outside of North America.
This week, Simon & Schuster also announced a restructure in its sales team.
