Simon & Schuster has released seven new illustrated titles as full colour e-books.
The books are some of the publisher’s most popular picture books, which include titles from the CBeebies TV tie-in the Octonauts. S&S launched its first colour e-books earlier in the year starting with six Olivia titles, and will now release colour e-books simultaneously with print edition books, as it does for non-illustrated fiction.
Kirsty McNeil, digital publishing manager at S&S, said: “We’re excited to be bringing more of our best-loved picture books to digital, giving parents and children a wider choice and the convenience of portability that new e-reading devices bring.
“We’re working hard on increasing our range of picture eBooks even further and there will be many more great titles to look out for over the coming months.”
The colour e-books are being sold across all e-book retailers and are available to download to iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch and feature in an iBookstore promotion.
