The Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge (SPCK) has signed a five-year deal to publish a range of products from church resource producer Essential Christian.
Its agreement includes a daily digital Bible reading app alongside an annual theme book and study guide for the Spring Harvest worship event. The first theme book, for 2020, will be written by Essential Christian board member Gavin Calver and wife Anne. More products will be announced at a later date.
SPCK, a charity and the UK’s leading Christian book publisher, said any profits from the partnership would be reinvested in its religious work.
Sam Richardson, c.e.o. of SPCK, said: “We are delighted by this new partnership and are excited about the possibilities it brings to work with authors in Essential Christian’s network to grow the impact of their ministry across the world and throughout this year.”
Peter Martin, c.e.o. of Essential Christian added: “The innovation in resources we can deliver in partnership will make a huge impact going forward.”
