Little, Brown Book Group’s Robinson imprint, formerly part of Constable & Robinson, has bought “South African publishing phenomenon” The Real Meal Revolution.
Robinson’s publishing director Duncan Proudfoot bought world rights to The Real Meal Revolution from South African agent Gary Wright.
The book, by scientist Professor Tim Noakes, nutritionist Sally-Ann Creed and chef Jonno Proudfoot, won the 2014 Nielsen Booksellers’ Choice Award, given by South African booksellers to the title they have most enjoyed selling, promoting and reading during 2014.
The Real Meal Revolution “demolishes the conventional dietary wisdom of past decades, which declared fat the enemy and put carbohydrates at the base of the healthy-eating pyramid, and provides a delicious, truly healthy alternative”.
The book will be published as a paperback in spring 2015.
