Shake-up for library supply

<p>Tom Holman</p><p>The library supply chain could face an overhaul under a government-led review of book buying.</p><p>Arts minister Estelle Morris stressed the need for change in a House of Commons adjournment debate, following last week's seminar on the future of the library service. Proposals include further moves towards consortia buying for local authorities, and negotiation of better terms from publishers.</p><p>Ms Morris said: "We want to establish good practice. I hope that that might include different local authorities working together more effectively on a regional basis."</p><p>...
