Serpent’s Tail is set to show how Britain works with a new title from London Review of Books writer and editor Joanna Biggs.

All Day Long: A Portrait of Britain at Work is a non-fiction study of the secret working life of Britain, based on interviews with everyone from carpenters to bankers, train drivers to footballers.

Serpent’s Tail editor Rebecca Gray bought world English rights from Karolina Sutton at Curtis Brown.

It will be published in 2015.
