Securicor OE to rebrand as DHL after sale

<p>Securicor has sold its remaining 50% share in Securicor Omega Holdings, which includes parcels carrier Securicor Omega Express, to DHL owner Deutsche Post for &#8364;247m (&#163;170m).</p><p>The deal--which is subject to competition clearance by the European Commission--will give Deutsche Post full control of Securicor's distribution business in the UK. It will continue as Omega Express for about 12 months, after which it will be rebranded as DHL.</p><p>Omega Express, which handles trade distribution for many book wholesalers and distributors, struggled to keep up with demand last year ...
