HarperThorsons has acquired Eat Well Every Day, the second book from Alice Liveing, the "powerhouse" behind the Instagram account, Clean Eating Alice.
Carolyn Thorne, editorial director for HarperThorsons, bought World rights from Becca Barr at Becca Barr Management, with Carly Cook as writer and consultant.
Featuring more than 100 "brilliant" new recipes, Eat Well Every Day: Nutritious, healthy recipes for life on the go is "the essential New Year cookbook to help you start the year as you mean to go on", the publisher said.
Liveing’s debut food and fitness manual, The Body Bible, was published in May and has sold 40,168 copies according to Nielsen Bookscan.
Thorne said: "Hot on the heels of the Sunday Times bestselling The Body Bible, I’m thrilled to have signed Clean Eating Alice’s much anticipated first cookbook Eat Well Every Day. Written at the request of thousands of her Instagram fans, this book is a collection of easy and delicious recipes and menu planners that have played a key part in helping Alice make her mental and physical transformation."
Liveing said: "After the overwhelming success of The Body Bible, I have focused my energies on my love of food and can’t wait to now launch my first cookbook, packed with over 90 delicious, simple, nutritious recipes. It’s been a real passion project, and a real team effort. I’m so grateful to be publishing a second book with Carolyn, Carly and the team at HarperCollins."
Liveing's Clean Eating Alice instagram account has 443,000 followers.
Eat Well Every Day: Nutritious, healthy recipes for life on the go will be published by HarperThorsons on 29th December 2016.
