Scots publishers join forces for Connery

<p>Canongate and Polygon are jointly to publish a book by Sir Sean Connery. Canongate has world English rights in Connery's Scotland, which it will copublish with Polygon in September 2007. The book will weave "combine memoir with his unique take on the individuals, often unrecognised, who have played their part in Scotland's extraordinary history."
Next year is the tercentenary of the Treaty of Union between Scotland and England. Connery will collaborate in writing the book with Murray Grigor. Jamie Byng, publisher at Canongate, describes it as "one of the biggest publishing projects Canon...
