Scholastic is bundling a selection of ‘funny fiction’ for this year’s April Fools’ Day, with books from Lou Kuenzler, Emer Stamp and Emma Barnes.
Samantha Smith, fiction and picture book publisher, said Scholastic put the books together to showcase emerging authors who write “genuinely funny books” that get children.
The April Fools’ funny fiction books are: The Top Secret Diary by Pig by Emer Stamp, Pip Street: A Piggy Pickle by Jo Simmons, Wild Thing: The Naughtiest Little Sister Ever by Emma Barnes, Princess Disgrace: First Term at Tall Towers, Fleatectives Case of the Missing Glow-worms by Jonny Zucker, and Fleatectives Case of the Stolen Nectar, also by Jonny Zucker.
The range is aimed at readers aged six and over.
