Harriet Sanders has been made rights director for the adult division of Pan Macmillan and will take up the position on 14th December, reporting to fiction publisher Jeremy Trevathan.
Sanders has worked in the rights departments of Hodder, Penguin and Orion, as well as at the Caroline Davidson literary agency, and latterly joined the Louise Allen Jones scouting agency.
Trevathan welcomed Sanders' "breadth of experience and knowledge".
