Hodder & Stoughton imprint Saltyard Books has acquired a second Scandinavian cookery book by Signe Johansen, with the focus on seasonal fare and sweeter treats.
Publisher Elizabeth Hallett bought world rights to Scandilicious Baking from Annabel Merullo at PFD, with the book to be published in May 2012.
Hallet said: "Sig will share more of her gorgeous recipes for breads, pastries, cakes and biscuits, dipping in to seasonal fare and finishing with a chapter on Christmas treats and gifts. Tapping into our growing interest in all things Scandinavian and our continued love of home-baking, Signe's book will soon become a kitchen favourite."
Johansen's first book, Secrets of Scandinavian Cooking: Scandilicious, was published by Saltyard in May this year.
