Sales slump continues for Borders UK

<p>Like-for-like sales at Borders' UK division, which accounts for over 70% of Borders' total international sales, have worsened in the past three months after a tough summer.</p><p>The US-based company issued a mid-quarter profits warning, highlighting "weak UK comparable store sales", which, for the 12 weeks to 16th October, are down in the mid-single digits.
