Salary survey call to PA

Leading publishers have called on the Publishers Association to conduct industry-wide research into staff salary levels, after a recent survey revealed that a third of publishing employees were seeking jobs elsewhere.</p><p>
The last PA pay survey was more than 20 years ago, and industry leaders, including David Young, chief executive of Little, Brown, and Sonny Leong, publishing director of Cavendish, said that it was time new research was carried out. The PA said a survey could be carried out if members requested it directly.</p><p>
