Rough Guides links with PhotoBox

<p>Rough Guides has launched a partnership with PhotoBox which means images from a new title are also being made available for purchase on its website.<br /><em><br />Earthbound: A Rough Guide to the World in Pictures </em>is published in paperback today (1st October). The photography book is also available to purchase as prints, canvases and acrylics via PhotoBox&#39;s &#39;Pro Gallery&#39;. It can be accessed on<br /><br />The book displays Rough Guides travel photography over the past 27 years. It also features embedded QR codes next to each image, which can be scanned on a mobile phone, PDA or laptop, with a link to the image&#39;s location on Google Maps.<br /><br />PhotoBox previously worked with DK Eyewitness Travel for its PhotoBritain competition. The publisher received over 8,000 entries for the prize of being published on the front cover of the next DK Great Britain guide.&nbsp; <br /><br />Rough Guides and DK Eyewitness Travel marketing and PR director Liz Statham said: &quot;We&#39;re excited to be working with PhotoBox again. Our breathtaking images combined with the interactive nature of their products are a perfect complement.&quot;<br />&nbsp;<br />PhotoBox managing director Mark Chapman said: &quot;We are very excited about this campaign as it will allow these incredible worldwide images to be enjoyed and personalised on anything from a print to a canvas. Our Pro Gallery site allows consumers and third parties to exhibit and sell their photos via their own online gallery.&quot; </p>
