Rihanoff's story from John Blake

Rihanoff's story from John Blake

John Blake Publishing will this October publish Dancing out of Darkness: Strictly my Story, the autobiography of "Strictly Come Dancing" dancer Kristina Rihanoff.

Ghostwritten by Abi Smith, the book will describe how Rihanoff was born in Soviet Vladivostok to parents who worked as engineers aboard nuclear submarines, and how her talent for dancing meant she earned enough money tomove to the US and turn professional.

Rihanoff will also talk about the heartbreaks and triumphs in her life, said the publisher. Rihanoff's romantic life has been widely covered in the tabloid press.

John Blake Publishing acquired world rights to the book from Rihanoff’s literary agent, Adrian Sington, and will publish in the autumn to coincide with the new series of "Strictly Come Dancing" on BBC1.
