Rights hat-trick for Headline

<p>Headline has signed a hat-trick of fiction deals. </p><p>Mary-Anne Harrington, Headline Review publisher, acquired British Commonwealth (BCN) rights excluding Canada (exclusive Europe) from Hachette US to Eowyn Ivey&#39;s d&eacute;but, 1920s-Alaska set <em>The Snow Child</em>, out in early 2012. </p><p>Associate publisher Sherise Hobbs bought two books from women&#39;s fiction author Jessica Ruston, acquiring BCN and Australia and New Zealand rights from Simon Trewin at United Agents, with the first book coming in spring 2012. </p><p>And Hannah Sheppard, commissioning editor, has bought BCN rights (excluding Canada) to &quot;feel-good&quot; title <em>The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight</em> by Jennifer E Smith in a low five-figure deal with Amy Habayeb at Little, Brown Books for Young Readers. Headline will publish in September 2011. </p>
