Richard&Judy make Righteous number one

<p>The "Richard&amp;Judy' Summer Read promotion has produced its second ever number one, with The Righteous Men by Sam Bourne shooting to the top of the charts following its appearance on the daytime show.

The quest thriller--written under a pseudonym by Guardian journalist Jonathan Freedland--sold 30,624 copies in the seven days to 15th June, an increase of 78% on the previous week. It gives HarperCollins its first overall number one title since Cecelia Ahern's PS, I Love You got the R&J Summer Read ball rolling in June 2004.
