Random House Children's Books has acquired four new books from bestselling children's author Joseph Delaney.
Commissioning editor Ruth Knowles bought world rights in four books from Carolyn Whitaker of London Independent Books.
The first book in the deal will be Slither, a standalone horror novel which RHCB hopes will appeal to his existing readers, fans of his Wardstone Chronicles series as well as attract a new audience. The publication date is to be confirmed.
Knowles said: "We are delighted that we have the opportunity to continue working with Joe. His creativity knows no bounds and we are very excited about his publishing programme for the next few years."
