RH plans global launch for hot Bologna Fair book

<p>Random House has unveiled plans for a global launch of John Stephens&rsquo; d&eacute;but <em>The Emerald Atlas</em> in April 2011. </p><p>It is the first in a fantasy trilogy, The Books of Beginning.</p><p>RH group companies in the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Spain and South Africa are involved. Marketing will include a digital campaign, cinema advertising, website, book video trailer and pre-publication author visit to the UK. </p><p><a href="http://www.thebookseller.com/news/115047-hc-gets-bolognas-hot-book.html" target="_blank">Knopf in the US was rumoured to have spent $1.2m (&pound;805,000) on the trilogy prior to the Bologna book fair, where it was the most talked-about book of the event. HarperCollins originally bought UK and Australian rights.</a></p><p>However, agent Simon Lipskar of Writers House could not comment on the change of publishing house.</p>
