Creative Scotland is conducting a review to help it “better understand the literary and publishing ecology in Scotland”.
The body, which looks after arts funding in Scotland, wants to hear from Scottish writers, publishers, literature services professionals, booksellers, translators and book festivals.
The results of the survey, which is being carried out online by Nordicity in association with Drew Wylie Ltd., will be “instrumental in Creative Scotland’s development of its forthcoming Arts Strategy and Creative Industries Strategy”.
It will also “influence the implementation of the recently published Film Strategy” and is being described as an “important opportunity for all elements of the multifaceted sector to contribute views, enhance understanding and influence future decision-making”.
The deadline for responses to the survey is 5pm on Friday 14th November.
