Registration is now open for the first Tools of Change Bologna, which is to be held on 27th March.
The conference, which focuses on digital development, will take place a day before the Bologna Children’s Book Fair opens.
"We are delighted and thrilled to be hosting a TOCBologna conference this year at the fair. We have had a lot of interest and discussion with many of our fair exhibitors and we think 2011 is the right year to launch this annual event," said Bologna programme manager Roberta Chinni. "Things move very quickly in the digital world and we see changes that affect the whole industry."
Speakers confirmed for the day include Kate Wilson of Nosy Crow, Scott Chambers of Sesame Workshop, Josh Koppel, founder of technology company ScrollMotion; Richard Padley, m.d. of Semantico; and Sindo Varela Diaz from
HP Palm in Europe. Twenty-five speakers from seven countries will take part.
The conference opens for registration today [2nd February].
Tickets for the day range from €99 (£84) to €299 (£255).
