Reed internet growth goes on

<p>Reed Elsevier has grown internet revenues to more than &#163;1bn, out of total sales that rose 13% to &#163;5bn, in the year to end-December 2002. The company made an operating profit of &#163;507m, to give an operating margin of 10.1%, up from 8.6% the previous year. Pretax profit was &#163;289m. The share price rose 16.5p to 447.5p on the results.</p><p>Elsevier Science increased sales by 29% to &#163;1.3bn, with adjusted operating profit (AOP) up 26% to &#163;429m.
