Great Ormond Street hospital is launching a Peter Pan Week, based around the Geraldine McCaughrean's authorised sequel Peter Pan in Scarlet (OUP).
Scheduled to run from 3rd to 7th March, the week will culminate in an attempt to smash the Guinness World Record for the largest number of people reading aloud, with a verse from Peter Pan in Scarlet being read simultaneously in multiple venues. The organisers hope to raise £300,000 to help fund a renal unit at the hospital.
