RDA sees "significant interest" from buyers

<p>The administrators of The Reader&#39;s Digest Association Limited (RDA) have said there is &quot;significant interest&quot; from potential buyers.<br /><br />The RDA, which has 117 staff, <a href="../news/112839-readers-digest-uk-goes-into-administration.html" target="_blank">went into administration on 17th February after its board decided that it was financially unable to meet the obligations of its underfunded pension scheme</a>. <br /><br />Administrator Philip Sykes of Moore Stephens said: &quot;While we are reasonably optimistic, it is difficult to predict a timescale, but negotiations with interested parties have begun.&quot; <br /><br />The administrators are working with RDA&#39;s management to stabilise the business, which is continuing to trade. The April issue of Reader&#39;s Digest magazine will be published.</p>
