Random recruits Round for CHA marketing role

<p>Random House has appointed Pan Macmillan's Claire Round as marketing director of its CHA division, with effect from 30th August.
She will report to publisher Susan Sandon, and succeeds Mark McCallum who left last month to set up his own media company. CHA is Random's giant commercial division, dominated by the Century, Hutchinson, Heinemann and Arrow imprints.
Round joins from Pan Macmillan - where she has spent nearly three years, including 14 months as marketing director - and has previously worked at Orion and HarperCollins.
