Random to launch e-book distribution service

Random House has announced plans for the creation of a digital one-stop shop to aid the distribution of physical and digital books.

Random House Distribution, which comprises The Book Service Ltd and Grantham Book Services, will work together with ePubDirect to create a tailored e-book storage and distribution service, which individual publishers will be able to use to access thousands of e-tailers and libraries.
