Quercus is to move it sales and distribution services in the US to Hachette Book Group (HBG).
The move comes after Hodder & Stoughton, a division of Hachette UK, acquired Quercus.
Random House Publisher Services previously carried out Quercus’ sales and distribution services.
The change will come into effect on 1st July.
HBG will handle North American sales and distribution of all printed and digital Quercus products, as well as providing office space to Quercus’ five US-based employees.
Richard Green, publishing director Quercus US, said: ‘‘We would like to thank Random House Publisher Services for all their hard work and commitment over the last two years helping to launch Quercus in North America so successfully.
“We now look forward to further developing our publishing plans and growing the business with the help and support of HBG.”
Todd McGarity, v.p. for distribution sales and services at HBG, said: “We are very excited to welcome Quercus to HBG, and look forward to being part of their growing North American business.”
