Quercus buys children's trilogy

<p>Quercus has snapped up a new fantasy trilogy for its children&#39;s list, in the wake of its children&#39;s director Suzy Jenvey leaving to become an agent at PFD. Roisin Heycock, children&#39;s commissioning editor, acquired UK and Commonwealth rights in The Magic Thief by Sarah Prineas from HarperCollins<br />US.</p><p>The trilogy follows an illiterate, light-fingered boy who steals a wizard&#39;s stone, almost gets himself killed in the process, and goes on to save his city from the death of magic. The first book, <em>Stolen</em>, will be published in autumn 2008.</p><p>Heycock said: ...
