Quercus bullish despite loss

<p>Quercus is bullish about its future, despite posting a half-year loss. In results to 30th June 2007, turnover at the independent publisher rose to &pound;2.96m up from &pound;75,000, but the PLUS-listed company showed a &pound;75,000 loss compared to a &pound;34,000 loss in the same period last year. </p><p>Chief executive Mark Smith said: &quot;Sales revenues for the first half are ahead of the directors&#39; expectations.
