Icon Books owner and managing director Peter Pugh has decided to step back from the day-to-day running of the firm, moving into the newly-created role of chairman.
As a result, former publishing director Simon Flynn has been promoted to m.d., while former marketing director Andrew Furlow has expanded his role to encompass sales as well.
The publisher has also finalised the move of its head office from Cambridge to London. The total number of employees will remain at 10.
Pugh said: “I am delighted with the progress of Icon Books and great credit must go, in particular, to the efforts of Faber on our behalf. I am also delighted to pass on more responsibility to Simon Flynn and his team.”
Icon Books was set up in 1991.
