Pugh becomes chairman of Icon

<p>Icon Books owner and managing director Peter Pugh has decided to step back from the day-to-day running of the firm, moving into the newly-created role of chairman.</p><p>As a result, former publishing director Simon Flynn has been promoted to m.d., while former marketing director Andrew Furlow has expanded his role to encompass sales as well.</p><p>The publisher has also finalised the move of its head office from Cambridge to London. The total number of employees will remain at 10.</p><p>Pugh said: &ldquo;I am delighted with the progress of Icon Books and great credit must go, in particular, to the efforts of Faber on our behalf. I am also delighted to pass on more responsibility to Simon Flynn and his team.&rdquo;</p><p>Icon Books was set up in 1991.</p>
