Publishers have room to innovate, says StoryGraph founder

There is plenty of space for companies to innovate, especially around community building and discoverability, The StoryGraph founder Nadia Odunayo has told FutureBook.

Speaking to Sam Missingham, founder of The Empowered Author, Odunayo discussed how her reading website exploded in popularity during the summer thanks to social media buzz. The site, which enables users to find books matching their moods and interests, saw its user numbers swell from around 1,000 to 20,000 in a matter of days, and has now passed 75,000.
