Myriad has appointed Louisa Pritchard to head up its international rights, taking over from Adrian Weston.
Pritchard is the founder of LPA, which sells international rights on behalf of agencies and publishers. She previously worked as head of rights at PFD, foreign rights director at Orion and senior rights manager at Random House.
She will begin at Myriad on 1st March. Weston steps down at the end of February.
Myriad publisher and m.d. Candida Lacey said: "Adrian has done a brilliant job for Myriad and its authors, introducing our novels and graphics books to publishers around the world, including selling rights for Elizabeth Haynes into 35 territories. As Myriad’s publishing has grown, the nature of our rights requirement has evolved, and we are looking forward to working with Louisa to build on our existing contacts and expand our international reach."
This year will see Myriad expanding its international sales operation, distributed its titles in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand with the Independent Publishers Group. It will also launch a new website in February.
