Princeton UP to publish 'major re-interpretation' of James Joyce

Princeton University Press will publish James Joyce: A Political Life by Irish senior barrister and historian Frank Callanan. 

The book is billed as a "significant augmentation" of Richard Ellmann's biography James Joyce (OUP, 1959) that will shift how the writer is understood, by reinstating his political edge.
