Primeval heads to silver screen

<p>Warner Bros has acquired the rights to ITV1 series &quot;Primeval&quot; in a &quot;high six-figure deal&quot;; Titan Books and Penguin publish tie-in titles to the series.<br /><br />The show follows a team of scientists who discover strange anomalies ripping wormholes in the fabric of time; in the film, the action will move to the US. </p><p>Titan publishes a series of original fiction tie-in novels such as <em>Primeval: Shadow of the Jaguar, </em>while Ladybird publishes tie-in children&rsquo;s activity books. </p><p>Producer Kerry Foster said, &quot;There is a solid mythology to the series, but the movie has the dinosaur element of &lsquo;Jurassic Park&rsquo; and the time travel element of &lsquo;Lost,&rsquo; and it just feels like the kind of big movie that Warner Bros does well.&quot;&#8232;</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
