Robes were readied, potions mixed and spells memorised as fans across the country celebrated the second official Harry Potter Book Night.
This year's event, held last night (4th February) was titled A Night of Spells, and organised by Bloomsbury Children’s Books.
Ian Lamb, head of children's marketing at Bloomsbury, said: "We're delighted to see readers old and new sharing their love for the Harry Potter books, and helping us pass the magic of J K Rowling's unforgettable stories on to the next generation of readers."
