Piatkus is launching a romance e-book list, Piatkus Entice, with the most successful authors moving into print after initial digital-only publication.
The first titles will be released on Valentine's Day, 14th February, with e-books including Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake, 11 Scandals to Start to Win a Duke's Heart, 10 Ways to be Adored When Landing a Lord by Sarah MacLean, and Winning the Wallflower by Eloisa James, as well as paranormal romance novella Eternal Blood by Laura Wright.
Novels will be priced £2.99, with novellas available at a lower price point. The imprint will also publish into omantic suspense, historical romance, paranormal romance and fantasy fiction, and contemporary women's fiction genres.
There will also be a site, www.piatkusentice.co.uk, for "a core community of romance readers".
The list will also team up with women's magazine Best, with a monthly editor's pick and book review on the Entice site, and an extract of the chosen title in the magazine, as well as a Valentine's Day competition.
Senior commissioning editor Donna Condon said: "We are being very selective about the talent we're pursuing for the list; this is the best of romance writing, from a market-leading romance publisher, providing romance readers with the books they love at the touch of a button and at a competitive price."
The move follows Random House's Ebury launching its straight to digital romance list, Rouge, in September last year.
