Phaidon lifts revenue, cuts losses in 2016

Turnover for illustrated arts publisher Phaidon grew by 4.5% in the year ending June 2016 due to a "strong performance" in its North American and German markets.

A filing at Companies House has revealed that overall turnover was up 4.5% to £23.3m, from £22.3m the year before. Operating loss for the company was £1.1m, down from £3.7m in 2015. Overall loss for the year was £4m, which was down from £4.64m a year previously.
