PFD literary agency has signed the editor of the Spectator, Matthew d'Ancona, poaching him from his existing agent Peter Robinson.
Caroline Michel at PFD said, "he is someone I have admired for years. I think he's extraordinary, he is someone of enormous talent". She said that PFD will be working with with d'Ancona across both books and television. "We're currently cooking up a plot," said Michel, "it's very very exciting".
The agent has had a busy week, also signing up David Blunkett's ex-lover Kimberly Quinn to write three children's books.
