PRH business Penguin Ventures has, in collaboration with Sony Pictures Consumer Products, announced the lead UK licensing partners for upcoming film "Peter Rabbit 2", with PRH’s Puffin as lead publishing partner, publishing a range of book formats.
Among the other licensees are Rainbow Designs (plush), World of Confections (sweets), TV Mania (daywear) and DNC (homewares).
Penguin Ventures and Sony Pictures UK will also be collaborating with Cadbury for a second time, for “a high-calibre licensing campaign and unmissable in-store activations”.
Lindsay Pearl, softlines category manager for Penguin Ventures, said: “There’s a huge sense of excitement surrounding ‘Peter Rabbit 2’ following the success of the first movie and the reaction from retailers and licenssees has been incredibly positive.”
Penguin Ventures has been acting on behalf of Frederick Warne & Co Ltd, Beatrix Potter’s original publisher and the home of the Peter Rabbit and Beatrix Potter brands.
