Penguin will next month release a new paperback edition of John Green’s The Fault In Our Stars for physical bookshops.
The retail version of the book still features the cover design by Rodrigo Corral but on a black background, instead of blue.
It will be released on the 2nd April and will particularly appeal to the YA market, said spokesperson Tania Vian-Smith.
The Fault In Our Stars, which Penguin first published as an adult book, despite its strong YA appeal, was the biggest selling novel in the UK last year. It sold 392,522 copies in e-book format to add to the 871,815 copies it sold (across all editions) in print. The totals gave it a combined print and digital sale of 1.26m, more than 300k ahead of its nearest competitor, Gillian Flynn's Gone Girl.
Sales were boosted in part by the release of the film in June, which sent the book back to the top of the charts.
The Fault In Our Stars was first published by Penguin in January 2013.
