Pearson Education seeks synergy

Pearson Education is to play a pivotal role in owner Pearson's plans to develop greater collaboration between its publishing operations. The news came as the group announced plans to unite the company's distribution operations with Penguin.</p><p>
Pearson Education is already working closely with editorial teams from Penguin and Dorling Kindersley. A new unit, DK Designs, will contribute to much of Pearson's future publishing in the UK.</p><p>
