Peakpublish has bought world rights to two books on the life and times of the England Supporters Band, which has been playing around the world for the football team since 1996.
The publisher has announced the deal following England's World Cup qualifying win over Croatia last night, beating the European rivals 5-1.
Geraldine Rose, publisher and director, acquired The Story of the England Supporters, and a second as-yet-untitled book, by John Hemingham directly from the author.
Rose said: "The band have hundreds of tales from around the world whilst having great fun playing for the England Team and we are really pleased to be publishing this book so that everyone can enjoy their stories."
The band, which has now played for England "more times than Beckham, Charlton, Moore or Shilton", started life supporting Sheffield Wednesday in 1993.
Hemingham, who founded the band, was asked by the Football Association to play for England three years later. They have missed only three friendly matches in that time.
"This inspirational band, aged between 10 and 80, play with passion in support of their country," said the publisher. The band has visited nearly 60 countries and appeared on TV shows such as They Think It's All over and Richard & Judy.
Hemingham said it was now his dream "to play for England right through to the World Cup Final".
The Story of the England Supporters will be published next spring, while the second book will be published following World Cup 2010.
