Sarah Pakenham is expanding her role at children’s publisher Andersen Press after being appointed director of rights, digital and international sales.
Pakenham has held the role of rights director for more than 15 years at the company but from now on will also oversee the development of Andersen’s digital content.
In addition, she will support the Random House international sales division, which handles Andersen’s English language export sales.
She said: "Andersen Press's picture books and novels always had a reputation for selling well abroad, and it has been a pleasure to present their wonderful titles for quite some years. I am now looking forward to working with the Random House sales department to bring our English editions to new outlets around the world and to explore digital opportunities."
Pakenham will continue to lead Andersen’s foreign rights team.
