PA targets lecturers to support textbooks

<p>A major campaign to promote the value of textbooks to lecturers is being launched by the Publishers Association this week.
The campaign, which will be backed by advertising in the Times Higher Education Supplement this autumn, aims to convince lecturers that their students value books. Open Books Open Minds will play on the discord between many lecturers' belief that students do not value books and the PA's findings that students still rely heavily on lecturers' recommendations.
