PA to reveal UK e-reading stats

The Publishers Association is to release data on the current UK e-reading market  at its forthcoming seminar "Here and Now: the Digital and E-book Market 2011".

The Book Marketing Ltd [BML] research will profile consumer groups, assess the main uses for e-reading devices and look ahead to the e-reading market over the year to come.

Chief executive Richard Mollet said: "The PA's seminar will be a useful opportunity to take stock, at this early stage in the New Year, of the key developments in the digital publishing market, both in the US and the UK, over 2010."

The seminar will take place on 9th February between 9 a.m. and 12.30 p.m at Hamilton House, central London. Speakers will include Peter Balis, director of digital content sales, John Wiley & Sons; Michael Tamblyn, executive vice-president content, sales and merchandising, Kobo; and Theresa Horner, director of digital products, Barnes & Noble.
