OUP holds firms in soft markets

<p>Oxford University Press has held up strongly in tough world markets to report a rise in total sales of 4.4% to &#163;392m in the year to end-March 2003. The press, which as part of the University of Oxford has charitable status, generated a surplus after tax of &#163;58.4m, up from &#163;46.8m a year earlier.
