Orion marks 10 years of Paver's Chronicles

Orion Children’s is celebrating 10 years of Michelle Paver’s Chronicles of Ancient Darkness series with a new edition of the first book and an author appearance at the Wimbledon Festival.
 
The series is a six-part adventure series set in the Stone Age featuring a boy hero and his wolf. The series has sold nearly 750,000 copies through Nielsen BookScan, worth £4.8m to the book industry. The publisher puts worldwide sales at 2.5 million copies. The final part of the series, Ghost Hunter, won the 2010 Guardian’s Children’s Fiction Prize.
 
Orion is marking the 10th anniversary of the first book, Wolf Brother, with a new paperback edition (released on 4th September) that has additional interviews with the author. The special edition will retail for £6.99.
 
The author will also be appearing at the Wimbledon Bookfest, which this year will run from the 3rd to 12th October, speaking to a mainly schools-based audience.

Paver also writes the Gods and Warriors series for Penguin.
