Industry collaboration 'essential' for a sustainable future, FutureBook hears

Long-term industry-wide collaboration is "essential" for a greener future, but sustainable measures can be put in place now, delegates at The Bookseller's Futurebook conference have heard.

In a panel discussion titled "Greening the Book Industry: Towards a Sustainable Future", hosted by author Anita Sethi, Vicky Ellis, Helen Conford, Amanda Ridout (pictured) and Siena Parker urged "cross-industry co-operation" to tackle climate change, and for the trade to implement sustainable practices seriously.
